Kinda wanna meet the community, so I thought it would be nice if everybody would've wrote a few lines about themselves, hehe. Devs are welcome too :)

So, i'll start. I am ALex, 23 years old. started to play quakelive duels back in 2011. Never seriously played any movement based games duch as defrag, et, wsw etc. Only played quakelive "normally". After a while I found out what defrag is (dem w3sp's movies) and absolutely loved it! tried it out offline, strafe maps mostly, but casually, nothing really tryhard-ish :D Also played a little bit of quakelive race.

End of 2014 was the time I've heard of RIK for the first time on Zoot's stream. They streamed all rounds of DFWC'14 and one of the guys, I think it was Arcaon, not sure, said that "some sort of defrag remake" is in development. So I made some research and found youtube channel, followed it for a little while and im here now :) Ejoying the game very much, thanks for all the effort!

Take my excuses for possible issues with my english. Honestly, what do you expect from a damn russian, come on.

Hey dude,

Michael, 25 years old, from London. Started Trickjumping in ET probably 10 years ago now.. Thats where i met Dinius and others (elite trickjump clan <3). From that i kinda disappeared for a while played some QuakeLive for a few years, some COD, CSGO etc. Then DInius told me about RIK so i got on the alpha and here we are :)

John Smith, 27 years old, from Finland. Started to play Enemy Territory in 2003, and quickly noticed my aim is horrible so I started to look for other ways to win the matches, and found trickjumping. On the same road ever since. In 2008 or so I met Dinius, and he was such a suck up to me that I granted him my friendship. He got me into defrag, but I never could catch up to even mediocre skill in it, so I stopped playing it (after making few horrible maps for it).

Then tjmod came in ET, and I needed to help Dinius save his face from too much shame, so I gave him few pointers which turned out to be wrong path for me, since I'm still on that road. In 2009-2010 I started to expand my trickjump experience on pretty much every FPS game where it's possible or even somewhat cool. UrT, w§w, CS, Q1-3, Tremulous, Xonotic, Nexuiz, JKA, Brink, tried them all, but none of them was perfect or nearly as enjoyable as ET, so back to ET I went, waiting for RIK (back then only a thought in minds) to come out.

Wasted a lot of time mapping stuff, most of them completely useless that never saw the light of day. Probably will keep on wasting the time for the same in the future, making maps only selected few like to play. Will continue planning stuff for RIK till I die.

i like games like this, cause all players are 20 and up years old )))

im 15y old, living in central africa (kenia).

searching for a new game "in the genre trickjump" :D

just searching for a new game "in the genre trickjump" :D

Dinius (real middle name), 24 years old or something like that. As far as relevant games go, started playing Wolfenstein 3d in 1993, Quake 1 in 1996, Quake 2 a couple years later or so, etc, then Enemy Territory in 2003. Started jumping exclusively (stopped fragging actively) in ET in late 2007. Never actually played Quake 3 until 2008. Highlight of my life was when I got to know hupo in late 07\early 08. Lately I've been having a bit of an affair with Piercy as well, but his GF keeps getting in the way.

Stopped playing ET completely in 2011. Started working very "on and off" on what would eventually become RIK. Been working non-stop on RIK since September 2014.

+ hupo's last sentence, that's proper dedication! :bear:

Thanks for the replies, guys. Nice to meet you :) JOTR what game you've come from? I assume it is cs, right?

edit: Nevermind just found your name on timeruns.net :D sorry

nope I'm "from" css.

Then I searched for a new game in this "genre", and got to Enemy Territory. From there I searched some mods and found trickjump.me. And there was an article about RIK so I directly regristrated here. (April 01).

Then I found etrun, didnt know that it exist, also amazing. Ago 1 week I found Quake3, also nice...

but at now projectrik seems to be the easiest.

Sorry but yes. I'm that Yave.
Basically, everything I do, I do wrong.
I want to share my skills with you in this new adventure.

:D Saw you register the other day, can't wait for some awesome maps :p Also you forgot the 1 in front for your height, i.e. 121 cm.

We're all doomed. What's next? Pommes? Anyone from JV? Kragle?

Can´t wait for your maps Yavero, and thanks Dini :)

How did it take me so long to find this.

Probably due to the fact you didn't call it TJGame.

Not for lack of wanting to but ppl kinda kept telling me that it wasn't an 'acual name' :D soooo you're telling me you've periodically gone on google or sth and searched for 'tjgame'? Nice.

Aye was a couple of searches not long after I stopped playing ET, think the tjmod forum was pretty dead if I remember correctly.

Stopped after I found warsow, AP with walljumps? fuck yeah.

Was talking in chat about how I used to play ET and someone mentioned Dinius was working on ProjectRIK, was told its pretty dead though, still thought i'd check it out.

Had a good 30 mins ingame so far shits tricky to adapt to. No Cgaz too that was a letdown.

No idea wtf to do on most of the maps, so far I gather you have to collect the checkpoints but some didn't seem possible i just ended up voting lamba.

Still looking pretty fucking cool so far, good to see that it's still a WIP.

I had a feeling I have seen your nickname in the past :D
