Isn't this game the most advanced one of it's kind?
The website looks a bit outdated, but hey! its still - in direct comparison to the others like timerun, q3df- the most modern.

TLDR: You're right on all counts I suppose, what happened is that I stopped developing it.
Could write a small book about this but I don't really have time now, sorry :) Maybe I will in the future. There's some more info here: https://projectrik.com/forum/more-updates-2 and I'm still planning on making the "RIK 2" game that I mention there. But not soon.
